Alfonso Premerio Brandy

Alfonso Premerio Brandy is a Spanish brandy crafted in Jerez de la Frontera—the heart of Andalusia's Sherry country and the home of Brandy de Jerez. Produced in the traditional solera aging system, where younger brandy is steadily blended through progressively older casks that once held oloroso sherry, Alfonso Premerio takes on the signature nutty, dried-fruit character that separates Spanish brandy from its French counterparts. Named in honor of Alfonso I.

The nose is warm and unmistakably Jerezano: dried fig, raisin, toasted walnut, caramel, and a soft oloroso-cask sweetness with a hint of cedar underneath. The palate is smooth and rounded—dark fruit, honey, toffee, and gentle baking spice carry into a medium, mellow finish that trails off through nutty oloroso warmth. The solera influence gives it a depth and roundness that many young brandies never reach.
