Mary Ann Greer Harper Camp was born on a hot July morning in 1937 in a small house on Ray Street in Griffin, Georgia. She was the youngest of four children, raised in a family that moved often but never once moved without its love.This is her story — written in her own words, in her own voice, at the age of eighty-eight. It is a story of faith and family, of mill village summers and Sunday mornings, of loss faced squarely and joy found again. It is the story of a life well and fully lived.Through nearly nine decades she has known the Great Depression, wartime, the joy of raising two sons, the courage it takes to start over, and the unexpected gift of a second great love. She has sung in church choirs, built a catering business with her sister, carved out a career at IBM, survived a broken neck, and kept going — always kept going.She closes with these words: "I have had a wonderful life and been blessed beyond measure.
