The Spark R&D Ibex ST Crampons have been upgraded with the ST, Smooth Touring, tech found in the new Spark R&D Binding models. The brass axle has been replaced with Spark's overmolded thermoplastic to make putting on and taking the crampons off a breeze, and improving rotation in the touring bracket. The Ibex retains its trusted uphill functionality providing confidence on icy and steep slopes. While skiers complain about their inability to use heel risers while using ski crampons, the Ibex is designed to work with or without the whammy bar in climbing mode to give your legs a bit of help on the steepest of ascents. Spark also utilizes a dual-width design allowing the crampons to sit inside each other minimizing pack space, keeping you from ever having to decide if you should or shouldn't put your 4WD devices in your kit.
