The Tamarí Special Selection Malbec comes from the Uco Valley, a higher altitude location at the foot of the Andes mountains. The valley’s La Consulta and Tunuyan sub-regions sit at altitudes of 2,800 feet and 3,600 feet respectively. Soils are alluvial and fairly uniform-a clay and rock base with a stony, sandy surface.
